Drain Cleanup Exercises in Bandar Tun Razak

Drain Cleanup Exercises in Bandar Tun Razak Constituency by Alam Flora and Kuala Lumpur City Hall

MCA Bandat Run Razak Chief Datuk Chew Yin Keen announced that the Alam Flora and Kuala Lumpur City Hall have begun the drain cleanup work in Bandar Tun Razak earlier this month to ensure the drainage system in the constituency works properly.

He pointed out that the authorities are using water jet in the cleaning works, and a clean drainage system will prevent clogging and the infestation of mosquitoes and rats.

In this statement he said the cleaning works take a few stages to complete. The current completed zones are Taman Dahlia and Bukit Anggerik and then be followed by Taman Ikan Emas, Sri Johor, Taman Len Sen, Bukit Cheras, Taman Tenaga, Taman Orkid Desa, Taman Connaught etc.

"The local authorities will clean up the drains around the shops and markets. If residents found any drains that need repair, please contact us and the repair will be done in about two months."

He pointed out that MCA BTR service centre had consulted with Alam Flora and Kuala Lumpur City Hall in carrying out the cleanup exercise after receiving numerous complaints from the local residents about the disrepairs.

"As Bandar Tun Razak constituency is home to 250,000 population, the cleanup plan will be a taunting task."
