Mother's Day

In this Teachers' Day I hope the government would increase the pay and perks of teachers to make this profession more attractive for more males to join the education field. There is currently a big gap between the numbers of male and female teachers. While we recognise the contribution and dedication of female teachers, we hope to achieve a healthier ratio of both sexes working in the industry. In this day and age, the best method available has been employed to make teaching more effective. Besides knowledge, teachers should also have good characters, be caring, be a role model and passionate. All these qualities are important in gaining the confidence of parents in the schools. The thinking of teachers should also be constantly refreshed and updated in the open society, to make progress and keep the commitment to education reform for a quality education. Social development depends on education and in turn education development depends on the teachers. As such, teachers play a pivotal role in the social and education developments. Teachers and students alike need to be creative and innovative in the National Education Transformation efforts to achieve the target of "stimulating creativity to promote innovation". The greatest work of the teachers is their selfless sacrifices in education. A great teacher produces a brilliant student; seeing the success of student is the greatest comfort to teacher. Teaching is more than imparting knowledge; it is inspiring the correct thinking and values. As such, students need to be grateful and keep in mind of the teachings from the teachers. They should strive to do everything to their best. Teachers are like parents; they are the light for the students. They nurture the pillars of the country's future. We thank you for the selfless sacrifice of teachers for they are not just dedicated but also have showed their potential and ability in contributing to the country's education.

母親節

　 　在教師節的這天 ，我希望政府提高教師薪金及福利等條件，以吸引更多男性加入教育行列。 目前，男女教師比例差距甚大，我們在重視女教師的付出和努力同時，也希望能把教師這行業中，兩性差距縮小。 在目前這個時代，教師們利用最好的教學方法，讓學生能有效汲收教導的知識。 因此，教師除了需俱備學問，良好品格、要有愛心、良好品行素質、好典範及對職業的熱誠，缺一不可，才能讓家長安心及對學校有信心。 教師的思維，在當今社會改革開放之時，需要不斷進取和致力于教育深入改革，才能提供更優質的教學。 社會的發展靠教育、教育的發展靠教師，尤其是教師所扮演的角色，更是舉足輕重。 教師與學生，也應該配合國家教育轉型的創意與革新概念努力，以達致“激發創意”推動革新”的目標。 我認為，教師最美的一面是衷心奉獻教育的精神；而一間學校需有優秀教師才能培育出色的學生，看到所培育的學生成才，是老師最值得開心的事。 教師的工作除了教導學生知識以外，還要灌輸學生正確思想與價值觀。 身為學生的，就要把老師循循善誘的恩德永記在心，凡是都要本著“全力以赴，力求最好”的態度，以便將每件事都辦好。 教師猶如學生們的第2個父母，是學生心中的明燈，培育他們成為國家未來棟樑，因此我們感謝教師們無私的付出，不僅是敬業樂業，更展現本身的潛能及能力，為教育作出貢獻。 　 　 　 　

伊斯蘭刑事法

我認為，大馬社會必需堅決反對伊斯蘭黨提呈落實伊斯蘭刑事法的私人法案。 行動黨有38國95州議席，在505獲得過半華、印裔支持，他們口口聲聲說的阻止伊斯蘭國，建立馬來西亞人的馬來西亞，結果在民聯內，竟然不敵只有21國85州的伊黨所提出的伊斯蘭刑事法，這是不可理喻的。 行動黨應是民聯老大，如果行動黨不能遊說就要離開民聯。 全國人民應該了解，伊斯蘭刑事法是非常嚴重和危險的課題，會導致修改國家憲法的課題，人民必須了解落實刑事法的結果和后國皆不堪設想。 我認同馬華及其他華基政黨，在伊斯蘭刑事法上的立場，即伊斯蘭黨聲明將在國會提呈私人法案，以便尋求在吉蘭丹州落實伊斯蘭刑事法，這是馬來西亞立國以來一次極其嚴重的憲法危機。 大馬憲法保障各族各宗教的自由，這不應該被挑戰。 而且，行動黨在2013年大選時，極力為伊斯蘭黨塗脂抹粉，為伊斯蘭黨意圖推動建立伊斯蘭神權國和落實伊斯蘭刑事法，極力的辯解和護航，甚至口口聲聲拍胸膛保證伊斯蘭黨絕對無法落實伊斯蘭刑事法，但是如今看來一切都是謊言。 事實是，行動黨雖是民聯主要的盟黨，但根本無法影響伊斯蘭黨任何決策。 還有，伊斯蘭黨執意在國會提呈落實伊斯蘭刑事法的私人法案，對於行動黨像霧又像花的回應，除了已故前主席卡巴星立場較為鮮明之外，伊斯蘭黨根本沒有理會他們。 最近發生在雪州，有關聖經公會宣佈從雪州搬遷至吉隆坡，顯示行動黨當家不當權，保護不了非穆斯林的權益和福祉，這對一直宣稱宗教自由的大馬來說，是一項沉重的打擊。 伊斯蘭黨要提呈落實伊斯蘭刑事法的法案，是在給巫統設下陷阱，但在任何情況下，大馬華社都要拒絕它的落實。

Bandar Tun Razak MCA 2014 Chinese New Year dinner

Bandar Tun Razak MCA division chief Datuk Chew Yin Keen said, the foundation would organize a series of courses in money management which includes Smart Money, Investment Knowledge etc for the benefits of the locals. As chairman of the foundation, he said that the greatest challenge now is the impact the price hike brings which will reduce the level of household consumption which in turn will affect the overall economic growth. "To get around the impact, first is to change the consumption habit by buying local products which could stimulate domestic economy and increase the government ability to help the people."? Investment Knowledge includes the learning of property and equity investments, he said during 2014 Chinese New Year dinner jointly organised by Bandar Tun Razak MCA and Bandar Tun Razak Service Centre. He said, the courses will provide them with knowledge of investments which will help increase their incomes. He said, the people must have a positive mind in learning new things, and take action in facing the challenge to building a better tomorrow. Meanwhile, MCA Federal Territory State Liaison Committee Chief Datuk Yew Teong Look was urging other fellow BN component parties not to forget inviting MCA when organising activities in the federal territory as MCA is still one of the main parties of the coalition. He said, it was unbecoming for the Ministry of Federal Territories not inviting him, who is a division chief to their activities. "I have reflected the matter to Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan who is also secretary general of UMNO." He pointed out the matter during 2014 Chinese New Year dinner jointly organised by Bandar Tun Razak MCA and Bandar Tun Razak Service Centre. Those attended the dinner including Bandar Tun Razak MCA division chief Datuk Chew Yin Keen, Cheras Wanita MCA chief Tay Kar Sin, treasurer Dato Seri Lee Wan Beng and his wife, deputy minister of Federal Territories Datuk Loga Bala Mohan, chairperson of MCA Federal Territories Municipal Council Panelists Datuk Chiew Lian Keng, Federal Territory MCA Youth Chief Tan Kok Eng, Cheras MCA chief Datuk Patrick Sim Eng Peng etc. Yew Teong Look opined that though it is not easy to win back the heart of the voters in federal territory, MCA has never given up in its struggle. Instead, the new teams from all the divisions of federal territory would have a bigger role to play in winning the heart and mind of the people. ll component parties should uphold the BN spirit of consultation and cooperation.? Loga added that he understood the hardship faced by the residents in KL. The Ministry of Federal Territories is currently working in finding a solution which includes the supervising of prices of goods so that the people would not be shortchanged.

Iniadalah Gagasan 1 Malaysia yang dipromosikan oleh YAB Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, Perdana Menteri Malaysia. Oleh itu, Rakyat Malaysia harus menghapuskan polarasasi kaum dan perpaduan dan keharmonian Rakyat Malaysia harus dijadikan sebahagian daripada budaya Malaysia. Kepelbagaian agama dan budaya yang diamalkan oleh negara ini telah memberi kami kesempatan pada malam ini untuk menyambut Tahun Baru Cina bersama-sama dengan rakan Melayu dan India. Rakyat Malaysia harus hargai perpaduan, persefahaman dan keharmonian yang sediada. Saudara/Saudari,Tuan-tuan dan Puan-puan, Dalam kepercayaan Tiong Hua, Tahun Baru Cina memberi kami satu perasaan baru, ceria dan segar. Menurut Zodiac Cina, 2014 adalah tahun kuda. Ciri-ciri murni kuda seperti aktif, pantas, bertenaga serta tabah dan berani akan memberi ilham dan inspirasi kepada Rakyat terus mara ke hadapan, walaupun menghadapi pelbagai cabaran dan rintangan pada tahun 2014. Yang pentingnya, tahun kuda akan membolehkan Negara kita terus mencapai kemakmuran dan kemajuan yang lebih bermakna serta Rakyat hidup dengan penuh keharmonian, persefahaman dan perpaduan. Dengan adanya kewujudan ciri-ciri murni kuda dan disokong oleh pemulihan ekonomi global, Rakyat Malaysia pasti mampu mencapai kejayaan ekonomi yang berlipat ganda pada tahun kuda ini. Namun demikian, cabaran yang paling besar dihadapi oleh Rakyat Malaysia adalah kenaikan harga barangan. Tetapi dengan bantuan ciri-ciri murni kuda kami pasti dapat mengatasi cabaran besar ini. Dalam menghadapi cabaran ini, kami harus ada mental yang positif dan berstrategi. Salah satu strategi yang efektif adalah menukar sikap pembelian barangan, kurangkan belian buatan luar negara dan lebih beli barangan buatan Malaysia. Ini akan dapat membantu pertumbuhan ekonomi negara dan terus mempertingkatkan pendapatan negara. Apabila pendapatan Negara meningkat, kerajaan boleh merancang dan melaksanakan pelbagai dasar dan program untuk membantu Rakyat, terutamanya Rakyat yang berasal dari golongan berpendapatan rendah dan sederhana rendah. Selain daripada itu, kita juga harus mempelajari cara-cara pengurusan kewangan untuk mengatasi cabaran kenaikan harga barangan. Cara-cara pengurusan kewangan ini akan dapat membantu mengurangkan perbelanjaan harian dan perbelanjaan yang tidak sepatutnya dan seterusnya boleh memperkukuhkan kuasa belian, “Enhancing Purchasing Power”. Tahun kuda ini yang pentingnya, kami harus ada mental yang positif dan strategi yang betul, kami pasti dapat mengatasi sebarang cabaran dengan jayanya.

（吉隆坡10日訊）馬華聯邦直轄區州聯委會主席拿督姚長祿促請國陣成員黨，在直轄區舉辦任何活動時，勿忘了邀請馬華，因為該黨也是重要成員之一。 　他強調，儘管馬華在過去全國大選中，沒能贏得直轄區中的議席，但該黨必須要有足夠參與度及受尊重，方可贏回吉隆坡人民的心。 　他說，日前聯邦直轄區部在旺沙瑪朱主辦活動，身為區會主席的他卻沒收到邀請出席，這不是健康的現象。 　“因此，我將針對上述事件，向巫統總秘書兼聯邦直轄區部部長拿督斯里東姑安南反映。” 　他昨晚出席馬華敦拉薩區會及敦拉薩區會服務中心所聯辦的“2014年甲午新春晚宴”時，這么指出。 　出席者包括馬華敦拉薩鎮區會主席拿督丘應權、婦女組主席鄭巧新、財政拿督斯里李偉明、其夫人拿汀斯里林月娥、聯邦直轄區部副部長拿督羅加、馬華聯邦直轄區市政局事務委員會主席拿督周連瓊、馬青聯邦直轄區州團長陳國勇、蕉賴區會主席拿督沈永平及各區會領袖等。 　姚長祿認為，隆市選民的心不會輕易被贏回，但馬華不曾放棄、絕望，如今直轄區各區部擁有新團隊，未來必有所為，設法獲取人民的認同。 　“各成員黨應秉持國陣精神，商討如何配合合作。” 　羅加補充，他明瞭吉隆坡人民面對許多壓力，但聯邦直轄區部正努力解決問題，包括在貨物價格上做出監督，確定民民眾繳付公道的價格。 　************** 　教育基金會辦系列課程 　丘應權指出，敦拉薩鎮教育基金會將主辦一系列課程，如《精明理財》課程，《投資知識》等，供當地人民參與，學習財務管理。 　丘應權也是上述基金會主席。他說，當今最大挑戰是百物調漲，面對衝擊時，往往會導致家庭消費大幅減低，進而影響整體經濟的成長。 　“面對衝擊需有對策，第一就是改變消費習慣，多買國貨，這樣就可促進我國經濟，屆時政府就會協助人民生活本質。” 　他認為，《投資知識》包括產業投資及証券投資，投資也是一種增加收入的方式，有了該方面的知識，就可協助民眾。 　丘應權補充，人民需積極前進的態度去學習，再以堅毅奮鬥的精神去行動，才能打好幸福基礎。
